Ticketing Policy

• The Global Fintech and Blockchain Conference 2024 is open to current university students, staff and alumni as well as professionals/members of the public.
• If you are a current university student please ensure when buying a ticket that you use your UNIVERSITY EMAIL ADDRESS where possible.
• All ticket purchases will be made online via a link provided on the Facebook events and page / the Website through Eventbrite. You will be emailed upon payment confirmation by Eventbrite.
• Tickets can be transferred provided you email us or message the Facebook page to provide the name(s) and email address(es) of the person(s) you have transferred your ticket(s) to. We will make every effort to accommodate requests for ticket transfers if you have a valid reason for no longer needing the ticket, e.g. illness, and didn’t purchase it in the first place with the hope of selling it on for profit.
• We are able to offer refunds ONLY up to 9.30am on Monday 12th February 2024, three weeks before the conference begins because with such a high budget large scale event that throws up many logistical challenges at such a prestigious venue, we book everything well in advance including all the food, drinks etc. to suit the numbers planned. However, we would be very happy to accommodate ticket transfers given they meet the criteria above.
• The Global Fintech and Blockchain Conference 2024 committee reserves the right to cancel a ticket if the buyer is forbidden by law to be on the venue’s premises.
• The Global Fintech and Blockchain Conference 2024 committee reserve the right to cancel or rearrange the conference if there is a natural disaster/ extreme weather/ act of God that means hosting the event is not safe or possible. It will be up to the venue to make the call on this and is out of our hands.
